KS Pittman ‘33 Willys

We teamed up with Rocky and Bill from Pirrone and Ellershaw racing as well as PPG on this recreation of the famed KS Pittman Willys. Rocky delivered the body to us from Scotts along with a door from the original car that was crashed in Englishtown in 1971. Our job was to recreate the old school flake and candy paint and panels from old pictures and the original door. After some body and prep work we spent 26 hours straight, painting and masking. The finished body was then returned to Pirrone Ellershaw racing for final assembly. The completed car has brought back many fond memories for many of those who experienced the hey days of drag racing.
