1949 Cadillac Convertible

"The Golden Empress"

This is going to be my wife Lori’s kustom Cadillac. Since I sold her 1948 Caddy last fall she has been nagging me for another. I located this poor specimen online in Ohio and had it delivered to the shop. Upon inspection it was in pretty sad shape. No floor pans, no rocker panels, significant rust and rot everywhere. The car had been dis assembled and sandblasted some 30 years ago and left to sit, however it was one and she wanted it.

This like a lot of our projects utilizes Fatman Fabrications and Ridetech chassis and suspension components. Instead of the commonly used LS engines this will utilize a vintage 1959 Caddy 390 mill with a Horne intake and four Stromberg 97’s.
